Let The Sunshine In

New garden, riding with the desert...

Let the sunshine in at last! We know it is hard and it has been very hard. We have still got a few months ahead of semi-darkness but there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I guess we are optimistic by nature.

Today we thank the Canary Islands´ government. They have seriously protected our only local industry: you! The place is more than 2.000kms from Madrid and probably around 1.000kms from the south of Spain. Therefore, totally protected by their insularity. Today and until the pandemia ends, all travellers stopping by will have to undergo a previous, maximum 72hs, negative COVID-19 test.

While Spanish mainland is beneath a severe semi-lockdown, this wild and unique piece of Earth is still rated as one of the lowest affected areas.

We are on again. Happy and grateful that The Beach House is nearly fully booked throughout November. The main bulk of our property, ten different sized apartments, is available for rentals directly through our web site. We sustain our policy and are still resisting holiday platforms. Being directly in touch with our guests is a must. Sometimes I am not around but always on the other side of a phone call.

It is true we are a little behind carrying on our renovation plans but it is still our main goal and challenge. Sadly, this year everything got delayed. Even IKEA is having stock problems on the island.

We have moved through this pandemic with love, empathy and compassion. Three concepts I highly recommend. It´s the only way.

A special hug to all our guests who made the magic happen again. Today, nearly a full house.

Babe, rise and shine.
