Hello Sunshine, We Are Back!

Lately we are taking a shot at lifestyle at Los Balos, El Médano. Been swaying to this rythm for the last few months. Meanwhile, listening to these great guys, The Teskey Brothers.

I love pampering my skin with eco-organic wonderful products. Wherever I am, my bathroom is my sanctuary. I am passionate on experimenting. Be it a seaweed or a baking soda body wrap. What you keep in your wash bag are for sure important for great skin. But furthermore babe, what beautifying products do you stock in your pantry? Probably tons. Mine could be a small market. Honey, raw chocolate, chorella, ginger, reishi mushrooms and many more goodies. So just go and check. Some of these naturals work wonders.

Many of us forget that skin is the largest organ our body has. Protecting us in umpteen ways. Skin acts as a waterproof, insulating shield. Guarding the body against extremes of temperature, damaging sunlight, and harmful chemicals. It also exudes antibacterial substances that prevent infection and manufactures vitamin D for converting calcium into healthy bones. Skin additionally is a huge sensor packed with nerves for keeping the brain in touch with the outside world. At the same time, skin allows us free movement, proving itself an amazingly versatile organ.

So guys, we most certainly have to think twice when choosing a product and creaming this beautiful organ. Obviously, whatever you use, its gonna suck it in. I swopped my skincare many years ago to friendly green products. I chiefly use Pai, their Hello Sunshine SPF is simply great. Something I discovered lately and my skin loves is kephir yoghurt. A daily mask stocked with probiotics, perfect anytime or specially after exfoliating.

The last week things have changed dramatically all around the world and some of us are stuck at home. Since we have more time for ourselves we can indulge in one of my favorite seaweed baths. Excellent for relaxing, detoxifying and balancing:

– 500gr of epsom sallts

– 1/2 cup of kelp powder

– 1 tablespoon green clay

– A few drops of favorite essential oil: bergamot, lavanda, frankincense…

– Relax for 30 minutes and then a long cold shower.

Ps. When the outside pressure is high, we feel the weight of the world on our shoulders. But if we bring breath and space inside of us, our energy influences the world instead. Are you living in a state of reaction… Or guiding your energy to creation?
