A Morphine Daydream

 

Having been crowned Olympic halfpipe champion in Russia’s 2014 Winter Olympics, Swiss snowboarder Iouri Podladtchikov was forced to undergo surgery several months later, after breaking the inner malleolus of his left ankle. Bound to a hospital bed in St Moritz for several months, Hillton’s Kris Lüdi spent some time with Iouri to gain an insight into his thoughts and philosophies during a period of subdued discontent.
