It has been a long time since we included a playlist, this autumn we are totally obsessed with this incredible intimate album, we are jamming with Prince and swaying to this unreleased gem, killing the silence. Please turn the lights down and let it rain…

Meanwhile the village has slowed down, although it is a twelve month place, our tradewind has come and gone, playing unfaithfully until December. Difficult to choose which month to come and stay, I guess I would not know, I love them all: windy days, spring, summer, winter, all fall… It´s a nine month blast! Many of our guests are besotted with the windy summer months, others choose the slalom winter ones. Whichever are your favoured, Los Balos, El Médano, our apartments, is the place to be! Only a few have discovered Las Calmas, a Hollywood star throughout September, October and November, it´s just summer again, wind usually disappears and may blow unreliably, sometimes Northeast or simply South, and Médano then becomes another bay, always challenging for those who want to hit the water.

Tradewinds will be fully back in December, we´re missing the windsurf and kitesurf action. Don´t forget there is more to El Médano: fabulous swims, running the next-door desert trying to reach Montaña Roja´s summit, diving into these awesome Atlantic ocean depths, getting a grab on windsurf and kitesurf techniques or climbing amazing barrancos, book a day with Walter Goller and enjoy Tenerife´s famous nature or why not, skate down from El Teide… You name it, we´ve got it!
